How Our Blended First Aid Course is Structured for Effective Learning
Structure:
This Blended First Aid at Work Course is split into two parts:
Part 1 – Online E-Learning
Complete an interactive e-learning module at your own pace before attending the practical session. A link to the online module will be provided upon booking. (Approx. 6 hours to complete.)
Part 2 – Face-to-Face Practical Training
Over 2 days of face-to-face session, where participants practice first aid techniques in real-life scenarios.
Location: Training is available at your workplace across London, Brighton, Slough, and surrounding areas.
Assessment:
- E-learning module test at the end of Part 1.
- Trainer assessment during Part 2 (verbal and practical evaluations).

During this interactive one-day training, participants will develop both practical and theoretical first aid skills, including:
- Roles & Responsibilities of a workplace first aider, emergency incident reporting, and first aid kit essentials.
- Emergency Assessment – How to assess a casualty and react appropriately.
- CPR & AED Training – Learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the correct use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Managing Common Workplace Injuries – Handling burns, wounds, bleeding, choking, Bites and Stings, Splinters, and Amputation.
- Handling Unresponsive Casualties – Placing individuals in the recovery position and managing seizures, fainting, and shock.
